The first time the tool is run it generates a second log ( Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST.exe/FRST64.exe).It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer. Right click and choose Run as administrator.Make sure that FRST is on the desktop of the infected system.Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version. If you are not sure which version (32 or 64-bit) applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Note: You will need to run the version compatible with your system. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop. We could also uninstall with FRST if needed. If you would like to download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool from the instructions below, I can get a better picture as to why it is not being displayed in your Programs and Features list.

It appears that Update Checker has been renamed. That's the only link I could find that explains why I am redirected to FileHippo's App Manager when I click on the Update Checker link. Seems that Update Checker is now FileHippo's App Manager.

I meant Updater Checker not Unchecky which is software that I recommend for those who are click happy and tend to allow prechecked bundled software to install along side intended software they want installed. FileHippo isn't listed in Programs & Features (what's Unchecky by the way?)
